OpinionStage, and similar services are NOT your data.. it is hosted on Their servers. so, a poll here or there about food favorites is ok. but, if they go under, or if they decide they don’t like your data, or if they decide that you are taking the wrong polls, BEWARE. I’d HIGHLY recommend to rethink the term FREE. Especially when someone else holds the key. You’re better off with a true plugin. I don’t know which, I don’t have a favorite, I don’t have a horse in the game. Just stay away from services that offer “embed” code. That’s also a great way to break into 1000’s of sites, just by breaking into their one site, they can pollute 1000’s.
